El propósito principal de este adaptador es brindar mayor comodidad a los ciclistas que sufren de dolor en el metatarso o puntos calientes. El adaptador lo hace de dos maneras:

1) El punto de presión se aleja de la bola del pie.

2) Se proporciona un área de soporte mucho más grande, que distribuye la presión de la cala en un área 4 veces más grande.

El adaptador SPIN2 NO SE ADAPTA a todos los zapatos:

A) zapatos que tienen una ranura de cala completamente empotrada. Vea las fotos a continuación. El adaptador solo se adapta a suelas de zapatos que no tienen bordes sobresalientes detrás de la cala.

Great, But…

The idea is amazing and personally it really helped me with my metatarsalgia.
But there are few things I wish were different.

1. The screws provided with the adapter are Phillips screws and they strip pretty easily, especially considering the tourqe needed to tighten them properly. I would definitely prefer hex screws instead of Phillips, ideally high quality fasteners that can handle the required torque without stripping.

2. The thread lock that is on the screws is not enough to hold the screws in place (the adapter came loose on me mid ride) ended up using a proper liquid thread lock.
I know some companies give you a little tube of liquid thread lock.

3. As a result of the added thickness, the cleats touch the ground which is not ideal with spd.
I Wouldn’t make it any slimmer, but maybe an elevated rubber platform can prevent the cleats from touching the ground.

4. The tolerance between the 3d print and the adapter is really big, even though the pressure is enough to hold it in place it can still move around a bit within the space between the two parts. Haven’t had any problems with that, other than being annoyed by it.

All in all a great product!
And I would love to see a new version, that implements solutions for the things I noticed.

Bien mais la fixation ne tient pas dans le temps

Je suis satisfait de la position de la cale mais celle ci ne tient pas dans le temps. J’ai du revisser une cale pendant une sortie alors que j’avais serré au maximum les vis de fixation. J’aime bien le principe mais je ne les utiliserai pas car j’ai peur de devoir m’arrêter au bord de la route pour revisser le système trop souvent..
