L'objectif principal de cet adaptateur est d'offrir un meilleur confort aux cyclistes qui souffrent de douleurs métatarsiennes ou de points chauds. L'adaptateur le fait de deux manières :

1) Le point de pression est éloigné de la plante du pied

2) Une zone de support beaucoup plus grande est fournie, répartissant la pression de la cale sur une zone 4x plus grande.

L'adaptateur SPIN2 NE S'ADAPTE PAS à toutes les chaussures :

A) chaussures qui ont une rainure de cale entièrement encastrée. Voir les photos ci-dessous. L'adaptateur s'adapte uniquement aux semelles de chaussures qui n'ont pas de bords saillants derrière la cale.

B) Chaussures avec seulement deux filetages disponibles pour les boulons M5. De telles plaques de base pourraient tourner. Voir les photos ci-dessous.

C) Chaussures Specialized avec 13 mm entre les rangées de filetage M5 dans les supports d'incrustation.

Philips Screws

I sent 2 days ago a complaint about the Philips screws that came with the adapters.
There is no way to use a torque slammer with those screws. I want Allen screws not only for the torque but also because the are not going to wear and also the pictures and videos on the web are with Allen screws.

Pls. Answer my email and send me Allen screws. Thanks.

The perfect solution to pain in the mid-foot area

My new Bike shoes were making my feet hurt after only 20 min of biking. With mid-foot adapter the pain is gone and I can again go for rides for +3 hours without my feet hurting. The perfect solution to my problems.

Game changer

Only used them once but they have changed the way I feel on the bike. Having had problems with Morton’s Neuroma this really is a game changer in comfort.

They work but have some issues that are dealbreakers

The adapters work, but have a lot of cons so I didn't end up using them.

1. They increase the stack height of the cleat, which means the cleat will be the first point of contact with the ground instead of the rubber sole. This is a big issue on MTB SPD shoes.

2. The adapters were delivered with screws that require a screwdriver, instead of hex or torx. For that reason it's not possible to torque them to spec and they easily come loose. This is a big problem if it happens on the trail as most multitools don't have a screwdriver head.

Great gadget

I got the SPD cleat adapter and it works great for me. Reason I got it is I have transverse flat foot and I wear custom orthopedic insoles with aggressive support under the ball of my foot. Cycling like this with traditional cleat position always gives me numb feet. Been like that since before I moved to clipless pedals but adjusting the foot position on the pedal helped. So I did the same for my SPD cleats with Patrocleat adapter. Much better and feels great. Only thing I would improve - use hex socket screws instead of philips screws. Philips slot is much easier to damage and harder to reuse when new cleats will have to be installed.
